We generally allow each project team to have 3 or 4 members. However, in general, we work with the sponsor to determine the number and engineering discipline of the students on each team.
Each participating student is expected to sign a non-disclosure agreement that establishes an agreement between the sponsor, team members, and capstone program.
A typical internship (or Co-op) opportunity will engage an individual student and have her/him work at the sponsor organization location either individually or in a group setting. A capstone program is structured as a credit course that expects an industry-sponsored project within an academic setting that creates a learning opportunity that may lead to tangible benefits for sponsors.
